  Its a solid 4.5. Very friendly service and the lunch specials are very good. Got the mongolian beef and tangerine chicken.
  Lets just say big portions of beef and chicken. The fried rice is also good and trhe soups.
  The .5 off is for the egg rolls which are not good.

  Been going here for years but the service has gotten pretty bad now. This last time was horrible. It was as if they didn't want me to come back. Totally ignored after I asked for rice. So I sat there, food getting cold waiting. Ten minutes go by finally he brings rice. Not apologetic at all.  Finally bill comes and I see they charged me for rice. I asked them why when I ordered a dinner portion (3 patties) of shrimp egg foo young? She says because they charge for rice when you dine in at the restaurant not when you take out.
  
  Wow!!!! How cheap is that? I am done patronizing them. Too many better options avail.
  
  Today: serving me dry ass shrimp egg foo young. Want to charge me $3.95 for extra gravy when they don't give you enough for 3 patties as it is!!!!!! The lady at the desk begins to yell at me on the phone because I asked why they didn't fill the to go container up. So over this place. If any one knows of a better place that serves shrimp egg foo young hit me up.
  
  Tired of giving these ungrateful racist fucks my money.

  Ordered delivery- it was great!
  
  They have gluten free options! For all the noodle dishes you can substitute "chow fun" for $1 extra- it's the wide rice noodles.
  
  BEEF CHOW FUN had great flavor so did the pepper steak!
  
  Will be ordering again!

  I want to explain about the theories or myths of Authentic Chinese Food. Many Yelpers(those 1 star Yelpers in particular) claimed that Fu's Palace is not Authentic. Here's is the BIG QUESTION. Which region? which province? what type of style?
  Chinese food is vastly diverse. Different provinces have different cooking styles, and use different ingredients. As time progress and people migrate from region to region, the cuisine would eventually evolve based on regions.
  
  As far as authenticity, Fu's Palace serves superb authentic Szechuan inspired Chinese Food, which was popularized in the late 60s and early 70s. Now a day, we often see catch phrases like "local ingredients." Believe it or not, people were using "local ingredients" back then. That is why we would not find Fu's Chinese food in Asia, because local ingredients are different.
  
  Instead of keeping with the trends, Fu's Palace sticks with its original principles. Serving affordable, good quality food to ALL PEOPLE. From offering the free hot tea and crispy noodles to egg rolls and main entree, it's nostalgic and welcoming. It's hard to find places like Fu's Palace now a day, because most of the died out due to demand.
  
  Besides the food, I was instantly welcomed by the host, lunch menu and hot tea was served immediately.
  
  It's hard for me to feel sympathetic for those 1 Star Yelpers and nay sayers. They just don't seem to be happy with anything.
  
  Let's all support Fu's Palace! There are many trendy hipster inauthentic restaurants in LA, but there is only one Fu's Palace.

  When I used to work on the Westside, I would try to come here as often as possible. The owner, Marge, has always been very friendly with me. Also, their food is very tasty. My go-to dish is the fried rice and their scallops. Their seasoning and portions are great. I truly feel like I get my money's worth. The only bad thing is that if they are really busy, parking will be difficult to obtain.
